Prateek Damodaren
Actor
Prateek Damodaren is a 28-year-old filmmaker based in Mumbai. He graduated with an M.F.A. in Film Production from Chapman University in Orange, California, where he took a 6-month method acting class one semester. Initially, Prateek came on board as a PA for Cherie’s previous feature, ‘The Show Can’t Go On.’ During the shooting, he was offered a small role as a pushy tech director, Kyle Jennings. Cherie enjoyed the performance and gave him more scenes, eventually leading him to be in almost eight scenes in the final cut.
Kyle is reprised again in ‘Matricher Falls,’ but this time, he plays a know-it-all talent agent, managing Cassie. In an uncertain industry, Prateek is grateful for this pleasantly surprising opportunity to act.
